  • Bundaleer Golden Spike Pinot Gris

  • The 'golden spike' (GSSP) is the international geological reference point for the Ediacaran period, in our own Flinders Ranges. We support the South Australian Museum's Sprigg Lecture Series, celebrating the discovery by Dr Reg Sprigg OA of the world's oldest fossils.

'Pinot' comes from the French for pinecone, as on our label. You'll find flavours of melon and pear, and a light pink tinge from the bronze Pinot Gris grapes.

  • Bundaleer Stony Place Riesling

  • We made this wine using only the free run juice which was cool fermented in stainless steel vats until dry. A delightful growing season has resulted in an excellent vintage producing a Riesling with cleansing natural acidity balanced with lively fruit sweetness on the palate. The nose is perfumed with aromas of citrus florals and tropical fruit with lemon, lime and stone fruit flavours on the palate. These are typical attributes of premium Clare Valley Riesling.

  • Bundaleer North Star Rosé

  • Quirky, fun, a little bit glamorous and proudly Southern Flinders Ranges, our North Star Rose is a lot like the iconic North Star Hotel in Melrose, South Australia, home of our cellar door.

Juicy cherry, strawberry and mulberry flavours abound in this blend of Shiraz and Cabernet grapes we grow at our own Bundaleer Vineyard  north of Clare.

Wherever you are, celebrate the Southern Flinders with our North Star Rosé.

  • Bundaleer Sparkling Shiraz

  • South Australian Wine of the Year Awards – Best Sparkling Red 2008 and 2011

As the Shiraz fruit ripens at our family owned & operated Bundaleer Vineyard, we hand-tie shiny silver paper to each vine, to reflect the sunlight and scare away the birds. After a morning of helping with this task, Joe, aged 8, looked back on the glittering vineyard and said, “look, we made Sparkling Shiraz.”

  • Bundaleer Volunteer Cabernet Sauvignon

  • For all of us at Bundaleer, creating wine isn’t just a business, it’s something we love to do! Our red wines are made from grapes grown at our family-owned and operated Bundaleer Vineyard which we planted in 1998 in a former orchard area in the Southern Flinders Ranges region in South Australia.

We have named our 2012 Cabernet in honour of all volunteers. We have all volunteered at various stages in our lives but we benefited from the dedication of some amazing volunteers as bushfires threatened to engulf our Bundaleer Vineyard in January 2013. The CFS and farmers from the surrounding area worked tirelessly around our property and the nearby Bundaleer Forest to save properties in the vicinity; we can never thank them enough for what they did that night

  • St Gregory 2010 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

  • 2010 was an exceptional vintage at Bundaleer. We set aside a small parcel of fruit and nurtured it in French Oak for 30 months to create our first premium blend of Shiraz and Cabernet. Bishop Gregory O’Kelly blessed our newly planted vines in 2001, and in 2013 Pope Francis honoured our founder Graham Spurling with a papal knighthood of the order of St Gregory the Great. We felt it appropriate to name our heavenly wine as a tribute to St. Gregory..
